      Yes, the still-broken-yet-paid-to-be-repaired computer will be presented to "computer shop" owner in a bloody horse's head. Tucked up under his duvet.

  buy windows vista/XP.
  Buy a program disc that will totally wipe your hard drive.
  Wipe the hard drive.
  Install windows.
  Making sure to reset your IP address in the process for luck
  In the long run it saves a shed-load of hassle and money, and when Miscrosoft's next OS comes out and turns out to be shite you can just boot up the ol' windows disc and feel smug!
